Date Night: May the 4th be with you
Sweeten your May the 4th by learning how to decorate a Star Wars themed cake for Date Night. By the end of our class, you'll learn how to decorate your own buttercream cake and take home your creation to show off to friends and family.
Skill Level: Beginner (no experience required)
What you will learn:
- Level cakes
- Fill, stack, crumb and frost a round cake
- Decorate a Star Wars themed cake
Cake decorating workshop is $85 per person and include cake equipment rental, cake, ingredients and light snacks. Feel free to bring your own beer and wine, too!
NOTE: Tickets are refundable up to 1 day before but Event Brite fees are NOT refundable. Booking may be transferred to another name. Class is subject to cancellation if less than 10 attendees sign up.
FAQs
What is the difference between a class and a workshop?
Cake classes are fun-centered, social experience with up to 15 attendants where you learn how to decorate a pre-baked, scratch made cake.
Workshops are technique-centered, semi-private with up to 6 attendants where you learn recipes, techniques, make decorations, and decorate a pre-baked, scratch made cake. You get real time feedback and guidance from Erica (owner) and Karen (cake artist). Our attendees leave being able to decorate a cake from start to finish. Learn more.
Can kids take classes or workshops?
Absolutely! We recommend a minimum age of 7 for our cake decorating classes and age 12 for our workshops. They must have their own ticket.
What is the parking situation?
Carpooling is strongly recommended. There is limited parking available on site and on the street nearby.
Do you do private cake parties?
Yes! Plan a unique party, shower, or get-together with a custom, private decorating party in our space at the Creative Chatuea! Learn more.
Will you travel to a location to teach a class or workshop?
Yes! Travel fees applicable. Fill out our private party inquiry form to get more information for on-site classes.

I’m a cake decorator and I’m interested in hosting my own workshop. Do you rent out your space?
Our studio is available to rent on select Saturdays & Sundays.
Rates (4 hour minimum):
$75 / hour on Saturday (does not include access to dining room area)
$125 / hour on Sunday (includes access to dining room area)
